Basic Needs resources

The Basic Needs Center supports students with food, housing, and financial stability resources, and connects students to other essential services. The Basic Needs Center is made up of three distinct physical spaces which provide community connection, individual care, and direct food support. Students can engage with the Basic Needs Center team in person and online.

Holistic Counseling and Comprehensive Guidance

The Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence (CE3) offers a comprehensive array of programming and specialized services that enable students from diverse backgrounds, including former foster youth, veterans, student parents, undocumented students, re-entry students, and transfer students of all ages and life experiences, to fulfill their academic, professional, and personal goals. By respecting every student as a unique individual, CE3 empowers students in need with critical resources — from holistic counseling and mental health support, scholarships, mentoring, and career preparation to nutrition and child care support. CE3 programs provide specialized programming, student-friendly resource centers, and comprehensive one-on-one guidance from CE3 counselors.

  • Welcome to the Basic Needs Center!Your virtual and physical hub of essential student services that impact health, belonging, and overall well-being. Undergraduate, graduate, international, and undocumented students are eligible for our resources and services.
  • The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), established in 1964, supports first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students. As part of the Centers for Educational Equity & Excellence (CE3), EOP offers individualized academic counseling, comprehensive support services, and a broad campus referral network. This program helps students overcome unique challenges, achieve academic success, and grow personally.
