February 21-22, 2024 Our Monologues Benefit Performance

 “Our Monologues” is a production featuring the real stories of students at UC Berkeley with a prioritization of BIPOC femme, nonbinary, woman,* transgender, differently-abled, and queer students and allies as well as their relationships to gender, race, sexuality, and other intersections of their identity. Our Monologues’ mission is to end gender-based violence and promote gender equity on our campus and in our world. All proceeds of the show go to organizations around the Bay Area that align with our values.

March 21-23, 2025 T-Camp

NorCal TCamp is a retreat for trans and nonbinary students by trans and nonbinary students and staff. It is an active effort of colleges and universities in Northern California. 

April 9, 2025 Transfemme Futures Book Talk

 A book launch consisting of a reading/presentation from Nat and Mijke, authors of the book “Trans Femme Futures”. Lalu and Pia, graduate students, later discuss with them with some prepared questions, and then an audience Q&A.

April 13, 2025 Petals and Plaits

An event highly encouraging Black QTs to register for a free hair braiding service Zawadi is interested in increasing visibility and understanding of Black LGBTQ experiences on campus and beyond. Furthermore, their visible presence signifies the importance and sheer existence of their overlapping sexuality, gender, and race identities to both African communities as well as the LGBTQ community on and off campus.

April 17, 2025 Makeup As Art In Honor of Beloved Friend Veda

An evening of messing with makeup in honor of community member Veda Jethani. Spend time with your community and integrate a little bit of queer joy into your everyday with some new makeup skills and ideas. Led by student makeup artists and your personal expression. Get fun free makeup to spice up the face card and spread love always with art.

A is a moderated panel of surgeons, providers from the Tang Trans Healthcare team, and students to discuss gender-affirming surgeries and how to get support for them with an anonymous Q&A at the end.

Free clothing and gender affirming materials available from community donations.

April 28t, 2025 Black Fat Femme Book Talk at MCC, MLK 2nd Floor from 4:30-5:30pm

Revealing the power of visibly queer voices in media and learning to love yourself. Author Jonathan P. Higgins discusses their book Black Fat Femme in conversation with Juniperangelica Gia Loving.

Lavender Graduation(link is external) is a celebration for graduating LGBTQ+ students to join together with friends and family to commemorate their achievements.
